Patricia Nuñez is an activist and teacher. She is also director of the Escuela de Activismo Agroecológico y Resistencia Reberde. She organized marches against Monsanto and student mobilisations against TPP11 and she has participated in the Raul Pellegrini muralist brigade. She also criticizes the laws related to the loss of food sovereignty and autonomy in Chile. She was honoured as one of the twenty most important women of the last fifty years by the Museo de la Memoria y los Derechos Humanos, Santiago, in 2023. She is currently in charge of re-establishing gardens at all levels in the municipality of Recoleta, Santiago, with the goal of establishing a seed house. Nuñez lives and works in Santiago de Chile.
