Peggy Piesche

​​Peggy Piesche is a Black German literature and cultural studies scholar. She heads the Department of Political Education and Plural Democracy at the new Gera location of the Federal Agency for Civic Education. Active in the Black (German) movement since 1990 and a member of ADEFRA e.V. - Schwarze Frauen in Deutschland, she is also active on numerous advisory boards, including the Equality Monitoring Committee on Anti-Black Racism and Equality for People of African Descent as part of the UN Decade for People of African Descent in Berlin. Piesche lives and works in Gera and Berlin.
