Raffael Kreißl is a young farmer and prospective organic plant breeder. After completing his agricultural training, he has studied environmental sciences in Lüneburg since 2020 and is a volunteer with the Young Farmers’ Association (jAbL). He also completed the Kultursaat e.V. in-service breeder training programme in 2023. Kreißl was politically active last year particularly against the deregulation of new genetic engineering and in favour of educational work about seeds and breeding. In May 2024, Kreißl will move to Meißner to work in breeding research at the Mönchhof estate for the next few years.
