Rasiel Almanza Cairo is a professional musician specialized in Latin percussion and Cuban folklore. He studied at the School of Art Instructors Eduardo García Delgado and the School of Big Bands Gonzalo Roig in Havana. His recent projects include: Leonardo Reyna, Logenhaus, Berlin, 2023; Orquesta Cubanaché, Columbia Theater, Berlin, 2022; and Wemilere: A Cuban celebration of the Orishas, SAVVY Contemporary, Berlin, 2022. Almanza Cairo lives and works in Berlin.
