Shanti Suki Osman

Shanti Suki Osman is a music teacher and artist. She works at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Institute of Music. She uses singing, songwriting, performance, acoustic art, music making, and radio in workshops to explore identities and privileges, power and marginalisation, feminisms and critiques from a postcolonial and decolonial perspective. Her works include Listening to Positionalised Rage, Norient-Sonic Worlding, Berlin, 2024 and Alternative Acts, Ballhaus Naunynstraße, Berlin, 2022. Osman lives and works in Berlin.
