Temitayo Ogunbiyi (1984, Rochester, US) is a play practitioner. She studied at Columbia University and Princeton University in the US, and now researches mostly in the streets of Lagos. She is currently a trustee director of Yinka Shonibare CBE’s G.A.S. Foundation. Recent exhibitions include: You will play in nuance and grow community, Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven, 2022; 12th Berlin Biennale, 2022; While we are embattled, Para Site, Hong Kong, 2022; and The Company She Keeps, Tiwani Contemporary, Lagos, 2022. She is the author of: Position the Proverbial (with contributing editor Lolade Abiola, 2022). Ogunbiyi lives and works in Lagos.
