Theo Pluto

Theo Pluto is a cultural geographer, sonic curator, researcher, archivist, record collector, and activist. His artistic practice revolves around sensory stimulation where he curates imaginative spaces through sounds that re-examine and re-configure Black Histories in the 3rd Space intersection. Historical and political insights are a focal theme in his work, where he locates nuanced ideologies that come with creative offerings that are alive through narratives from protest artists in Africa and abroad. Theo Pluto is currently a fellow of the Radio Residency program at the Bauhaus University Weimar. Pluto lives and works in Johannesburg, South Africa.
