Tinofireyi Zhou
Tinofireyi Zhou (also known as Aero5ol) is a multidisciplinary artist. He uses spoken and written word, street art, and sound-based intervention to engage and interrogate the world. In 2015 he created the itinerant vinyl archive and DJing project Revolutions Per Minute alongside journalist/writer Percy Zvomuya. He also works on a long term research-based project exploring and building an archive around his family’s Lemba heritage. In 2018 he exhibited in SAVVY Contemporary’s Whose Land Have I Lit On Now? exhibition in Berlin and in 2019 he was selected for Art Cube Studios LowRes research residency in Jerusalem. Zhou lives and works in Zhou lives and works in Harare, Zimbabwe.
