Wakanyi Hoffman is an author, educator, public speaker, and scholar of African indigenous knowledge systems. Her current projects, public speeches, and writings are focused on reintroducing Ubuntu philosophy as an operating system for human becoming in the new era of non-human becoming. She is currently an academic fellow at The New Institute in Hamburg working on the program Conceptions of Human Flourishing. Hoffman was born and raised in Kenya and now identifies as a contemporary nomad having lived and worked in several countries. Hoffman currently lives in the Netherlands and works in Germany.
