Ximena Vanessa Goecke is a historian and teacher. She has a Magister in Gender and Culture Studies from the University of Chile and is a doctoral candidate in Literature at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She was a member of the feminist human rights collective Mujeres Sobrevivientes Siempre Resistentes. Recent publications include: Entramado desafiante: memoria, feminismo y arte [A Challenging Web: Memory, Feminism and Art] (with Claudia Montero, 2022). Goecke lives and works in Brandenburg an der Havel and Berlin.
