Zahra R. Babar is Associate Director for Research at the Center for International and Regional Studies at Georgetown University in Qatar. She has published several articles and book chapters on areas of her research interest in journals such as The Political Quarterly and International Journal of Middle East Studies. She has edited and co-edited a number of academic books, including Transnational Generations in the Arab Gulf States and Beyond (2023) and Mobility and Forced Displacement in the Middle East (2020). Babar lives and works in Doha, Qatar.
