Brothers and Sisters Move Globally. Brüder und Schwestern Mehr Gemeinschaft. Black Superman Gang. The acronym BSMG is ascribed a variety of meanings. However, the core message behind it always refers to the self-empowerment of the Black community in Germany.

BSMG is the alliance of the artists Megaloh, Ghanaian Stallion, Musa, and Amewu—a collective of Black German artists who use their music for Afropean education, to criticize the system, express solidarity, and straighten out local discourses on European-African relations. By dealing with previously suppressed post-colonial issues in the German hip-hop scene, BSMG were able to initiate a positive movement and build a strong network of like-minded people.

In collaboration with HKW and as part of the exhibition opening of Forgive Us Our Trespasses / Vergib uns unsere Schuld, the group presents Know the Past, Interpret the Present, Shape the Future. Hip-Hop—Black Culture in Germany. To kick things off, BSMG have invited guests Albi X, Die P, and Aisha Vibes, Afro-German artists who have had an enormous influence on German hip-hop in recent years and will continue to propel the diversity of its future developments, for a major joint evening concert.
