How did we communicate in the past and how do we express ourselves nowadays, besides writing and talking? How do we convey our thoughts and feelings visually and how can we tell stories and myths without using words?
By painting on wooden furniture at HKW’s Lili Elbe Garden, the participants of this workshop will use colours and visual thinking to express their understanding of reality. They will use the seven basic colours of the white light spectrum to create their own visual languages and tell stories without words. By using colours to communicate, participants will explore the different ways we can express ourselves and integrate non-verbal ways of understanding that might lead us to answering the question: In what ways do we show our understanding of the world we live in through our different ways of perceiving it?
