Kwasi Konadu ist Heiler, Herausgeber und Inhaber des John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur-Lehrstuhls und Professor an der Colgate University. Er lehrt afrikanische Geschichte und Geschichte und Kultur der afrikanischen Diaspora. Er ist der Autor von Many Black Women of this Fortress (2022), Africa’s Gold Coast through Portuguese Sources, 1471-1671 (2022) und Our Own Way in This Part of the World: Biography of an African Community, Culture, and Nation (2016). Konadu lebt und arbeitet in New York.
