Interfilm - Opening

Some 500 films were selected from 6,000 entries to mark the jubilee of Berlin’s second largest film festival. A range of formats from feature film through animations, documentary and experimental films to advertising and music clips will present the world and the latest developments in the genre – in 2009 the country focuses are on Russia and the Netherlands. This kaleidoscope will be supplemented with lectures, panels, workshops and parties. One of the legendary INTERFILM parties will also be held after the opening event, which will provide a round-up of the extensive and diverse festival program.
