Walla Capelobo (1992, Congonhas, Brazil) sees herself as a dark forest and fertile mud. She is a researcher and artist creating work in the spiral of time crossing her life, with a practice is characterized by the embodiment of life and regeneration. She has collaborated with the pedagogical research platforms Desculonizacion: action and thought, as well as Circulo Permanente de Estudios Independentes (CIPEI). Capelobo has also participated in artistic residences at Pivô, São Paulo; Matéria Abierta, Mexcio City; and Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik (ZKU), Berlin.
