Fatma Aydemir is a writer, journalist, and co-editor of Delfi. Magazin für neue Literatur and co-editor of the essay collection Eure Heimat ist unser Albtraum (2019). She published her debut novel Ellbogen in 2017 and the novel Dschinns in 2022, which has been translated into over fifteen languages. Her columns appear regularly in the British daily The Guardian. She curates and hosts the talk series Materien at Schauspiel Essen. Aydemir lives and works in Berlin.
