A lot has happened in the last five years: the anti-Semitic and racist attacks in Halle and Hanau, a supposedly progressive change of government after the Merkel era ended in a collapsed coalition, while the threat from the right is growing, as the September 2024 state elections demonstrated.

Reason enough to take stock of the current situation: Where does this country stand in the social debate? What can be and is to be done now? Resonating with such concerns, Fatma Aydemir and Hengameh Yaghoobifarah have added an updated foreword as well as new contributions to the anthology Eure Heimat ist unser Albtraum [Your homeland is our nightmare], which was first published in 2019. On this evening, they will be in conversation with Anna Dushime and the audience, moderated by Sasha Marianna Salzmann.

The conversation is followed by a DJ set by Berlin artist Bär Kittelmann aka URSUS from 20:30.
