Fenja Akinde-Hummel

Fenja Akinde-Hummel is a PhD candidate at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, within the research project Tales of the Diasporic Ordinary. Her work addresses experiences of time across the diaspora and the conditions that produce overlapping experiences and sensations of its passing. She produces journalistic videos for fluter and has worked on the collaborative film Oil on Water (2021). She is a member of the Black Student Union at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Akinde-Hummel lives and works in Berlin.
