Giuliana Kiersz Kiersz

Giuliana Kiersz is a poet, playwright, librettist, and artist. Her work explores the intersections between space and language and imagines new political and social horizons and she often writes from field research and encounters. Her texts received several prizes, including first place in the X. German Rozenmacher Prize. Kiersz’s work has been supported by numerous international institutions, including the Akademie Schloss Solitude, Maxim Gorki Theater, and the Senate Department for Culture and Europe. Her texts have been translated into English, German, French, Portuguese, and Tsosil. Kiersz lives and works in Berlin.
