Marta Stanisława Sala
Marta Stanisława Sala studied painting in Kraków and art in context in Berlin. She is also trained in garment technology. As a textile, installation and video artist, costume designer, and performer, she is committed to environmental protection and anti-discrimination. Fabric remnants and rubbish are her main materials. Her most recent projects include the trans-lingual art and poetry project Û∞-Berlîn: A Creative Anarchist Urban Escape Chronicle (with Abdulkadir Musa, 2020), the memory culture project Esther’s Willow (2018, ongoing) and several experimental ethnographies with Cheong Kin Man. She also works as an art educator at the Berlinische Galerie.
